Our Mission
Special Orchestra®, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
whose purpose is to help persons with developmental disabilities share in the
joy of making music. Using similarly tuned instruments (key of C), special
orchestras can start playing right away! The Special Orchestra Method and Songbook will show you how.

Since 1999, Special Orchestra®, Inc., with its pioneer ensemble, the New
Mexico Special Orchestra, has been helping people with special needs,
